General audience — not directed to children under 13
Roll One Radio is a general-audience internet radio station and website intended for adult music listeners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through one of our forms, email privacy@rolloneradio.com and we will delete the submission.
Information we collect
We collect information you type into our public forms. Depending on the form, that may include:
- Contact form: name, email address, subject, message, and inquiry type.
- Song request: name, email address, song title, artist, and an optional note.
- VIP Listener Club: name and email address.
- Celebrations (shoutouts and dedications): your name and email address, the first name of the person being celebrated, the celebration type, the celebration or event date, an optional message, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, whether the honoree is under 18 and — if so — that you are a parent or legal guardian or have their permission, and your optional permissions for us to mention the celebration on the air, post it on Roll One Radio social media, or use a photo you choose to send later. We do not collect photos through the form.
- Advertising, sponsor, and partnership inquiries: name, business name, email address, optional phone number, package or budget interest, and your message.
- Artist submissions: artist or representative name, contact email, optional phone, artist details, and public links to music, video, and social profiles.
- Basic technical and referral context: the page a form was submitted from, campaign parameters in the link you arrived on, and a one-way hashed value derived from your network address used only for spam and abuse limiting.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, health or medical information, street addresses, or dates of birth. The Celebrations form asks only for the date of the celebration or event — not a date of birth. Please do not include sensitive information in a message. If you send it anyway, we will delete it.
How we use information
- To reply to your message or business inquiry.
- To review song requests and artist submissions for possible airplay or editorial features.
- To send VIP Listener Club email updates you asked for, and a confirmation of your submission.
- To prepare and schedule the celebration shoutout or content you requested, and to follow up with you about it. We only mention a celebration on the air, post it on social media, or use a photo if you gave us that specific permission on the form.
- To protect the site from spam, duplicate submissions, and automated abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your form submissions for unrelated advertising targeting.
Consent and email preferences
Submitting a form is your consent for us to use the details you provided for the purpose described on that form. Marketing-style emails such as VIP Listener Club updates include an unsubscribe link, and you can manage your email preferences at any time. We may still send a direct reply to a message you sent us.
Retention and data minimization
We keep submissions only as long as they serve the purpose they were sent for. As a general practice: song requests are reviewed and then retained for a short operational period; contact and inquiry messages are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable business-records period afterward; artist submissions are kept while under editorial consideration; Celebrations submissions are kept while we prepare and air or post the requested shoutout and afterward only as reasonably needed for ordinary business records; and VIP Listener Club records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Optional fields stay optional — leaving them blank will not block your submission.
Service providers and third-party links
We use a small number of service providers to actually run the station and the site — website and database hosting, an email delivery service that sends our notifications and confirmations, and Live365, which delivers the audio stream. These providers process information only to provide those services to us.
Some links on this site are sponsored, partner, or affiliate links. When you follow one, you leave Roll One Radio and the destination site's own privacy practices apply. We may receive compensation from those partners, and sponsored placements never affect the music we play.
Security and its limits
Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections, stored in an access-controlled database, and readable only by authenticated Roll One Radio administrators. Raw network addresses are not stored in readable form. That said, no website or transmission method is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through any web form.
Correction and deletion requests
To see, correct, or delete information you submitted, email privacy@rolloneradio.com from the email address you used, and tell us which form it was and roughly when you sent it. We aim to confirm receipt within a few business days and complete verified requests within 30 days. We may keep a minimal record of the request itself, and any information we are required to retain for legal or accounting reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the station and website evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
